As the push for clean energy and domestic production of oil and gas has gained momentum in the United States, so has Budd-Falen Law Offices’ involvement in all aspects of energy and natural resources development, from the private landowners’ perspective.  We also work closely with local governments to promulgate needed regulations of the transmission of energy through pipelines and transmission lines.

 We have negotiated over 100 wind leases and over 30 oil and gas leases, securing favorable terms and conditions for the landowners as well as ensuring the protection of the landowner and the property both now and in the future.  It is our belief that a landowner should not have to sacrifice his or her piece of mind to benefit from clean energy and natural resources development.  Budd-Falen Law Offices also remains on the cutting edge of other clean energy development, such leasing pore space for carbon capture and storage.  Finally, we help landowners bond together to form landowner groups in order to gain the most leverage in negotiating with energy and natural resources developers.
