Marc R. Stimpert

Marc Stimpert is a Senior Associate with Budd-Falen Law Offices, L.L.C. in Cheyenne, Wyoming where he practices natural resources law, administrative law and civil litigation. Marc specializes in Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, and grazing law issues. Marc is a member of the Wyoming and Oklahoma Bars, and is licensed to practice in seven federal district courts, three federal circuit courts of appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Before moving to Wyoming, Marc resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was an associate attorney with the law firm of Jones, Givens, Gotcher and Bogan, P.C. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Kansas State University, a Master of Science degree in fisheries management from Auburn University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law, including a Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Certificate. Marc has also been published in the Energy Law Journal, the Environmental Law Journal and has co-authored two peer-reviewed publications in the North American Journal of Fisheries Management.

Prior to his legal career, Marc worked as a biologist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; a research assistant for the Department of Fisheries and Allied Aquaculture for Auburn University, a research assistant in the Department of Biology at Kansas State University, and a biologist assistant for the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.

Marc was born and raised as a fourth generation farmer on a family owned farm southwest Kansas.

Marc currently is working for Budd-Falen Law Offices, L.L.C. from a satellite office in Bucklin, Kansas.
