Shannon Wittstock is an associate attorney with Budd-Falen Law Offices, LLC, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she practices natural resources law, environmental law, administrative law and property law.

Shannon earned her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California.  At Thomas Jefferson, Shannon received the Witkins Award for Excellence in Trial Practice, the Cali Award in Trial Practice and a Jefferson Medal in Trial Practice.  Prior to law school, Shannon attended Colorado State University, where she received her undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. 

 

Prior to joining BFLO, Shannon interned with the Honorable Judge Kurt Horton in the 18th Judicial District in Colorado State Court.  During her legal education, Shannon interned with the San Diego Public Defenders Office, where she practiced criminal law under the certified law student program.  Shannon also interned with the Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic at Thomas Jefferson, where she practiced family, bankruptcy and administrative law under the certified law student program.  In addition to her internships, she worked as a research assistant for two professors at Thomas Jefferson researching and cite-checking law review articles involving critical race theory and civil procedure.   

 

Shannon was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado.  She currently resides in Fort Collins, Colorado with her two dogs, Otis and Brear, and two cats, Nietzsche and Butters.
