Sarah L. Falen

Sarah Falen recently graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in May 2021 and joined Budd-Falen Law Offices. While in Law School, she was the Vice President in 2019 and the President in 2020 of the Wyoming Student Chapter of the Federalist Society. Sarah focused her studies on agriculture and natural resources. During the summers, she interned with the Department of the Interior Office of the Solicitor for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and was a Research Assistant for College of Law professors regarding accelerated coal-fired power plant retirement.

Sarah received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Wyoming in Agriculture Communication and Environment and Natural Resources in 2017. Sarah was the first student in the College of Agriculture to complete two degrees in a total of three years. In 2015, Sarah interned with Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis in Washington D.C. Sarah was also a policy intern with the Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation, which led to opportunities such as competing in the National Collegiate Discussion Meet through Farm Bureau. Sarah currently serves on the Natural Resources Mediation Board for the State of Wyoming. 

Sarah is a sixth-generation Wyoming rancher from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Her passion for policy in the agriculture industry stemmed from being on the Future Farmers of America National Championship Agriculture Issues team. Sarah now volunteers her time to coach Agriculture Issues teams in Cheyenne.
